Laura & Philip : Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens Wedding

This was my first time photographing a wedding in Richmond, VA and it could not have happened at a more picturesque location. The Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens are a sprawling network of trails and paths that wind through various gardens and flower beds. Laura and Philip chose the Rose Garden for their ceremony where, thanks to the mild winter and early spring, the roses were ahead of schedule and in full bloom for their wedding day.

This house of vines reminded me of “Where The Wild Things Are”. There are rooms, windows, and doors and it’s pretty dang sweet.
